We must ensure that our campus is more than just a place for learning and research. It needs to serve as both a community space and talent incubator where everyone has the opportunity for discovery, exploration and growth.
Polytechnique’s major campus development project reflects our ambitious vision for the future.
We will renovate our main buildings and expand our facilities with leading-edge teaching and research environments. We’re developing new classroom approaches to support more interactive teaching methods, as well as new laboratories featuring the world’s most advanced technologies.
We will also be creating new common areas to promote interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing and collaboration. To stimulate innovation and support entrepreneurship, we will designate some areas for ideation and conceptualization.
By removing barriers to knowledge sharing, we aim to promote learning, creativity, cross-disciplinary collaboration and the development of social and professional skills, all of which are essential in today’s world.
Last but not least, we will bring nature back onto campus to underscore our commitment to creating a greener society. Our outdoor amenities will blend harmoniously with the mountain and local ecosystem, and be available for all Montrealers to enjoy.
